Our Mission

“The mission of Windborne United Methodist Church is to make disciples for the transformation of the world.” 

First, and foremost, we believe that disciples are lifelong, obedient learners and followers of Jesus Christ. Following Jesus is not a sprint, but more like a marathon. At Windborne you will find a supportive atmosphere for the exploration and discovery of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Secondly, we believe that disciples are made, not born. Becoming a follower of Jesus Christ is a process. At Windborne you will be encouraged and challenged to discover God’s unique purposes for your life in the context of Christian community. In this community of believers, God shapes and molds us into life-long, obedient learners and followers of Jesus Christ who share with others the joy of knowing and serving Christ.

Our Vision

As our mission states at Windborne United Methodist Church  ”to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”  We are accomplishing this mission through implementing the vision of CONNECTING with God and knowing Him more completely, GROWING in living as Christ would have us live, and SERVING God through serving others.
